'In Trust for Scotland', will no doubt be aware that this is a very difficult and testing time for staff within the NTS - those that are directly affected by the threat of redundancy, and those that face difficult management decisions with diminishing resources in staff and budgets.
It is heartening to know that members also have concerns about the future of NTS, and that they feel they should be informed, in order to have a positive input. Thank you for your support.

Having looked at your website, I notice your list of 'Properties Under Threat'. May I just point out that, to the best of my knowledge, the future of Ben Lawers Nature Reserve is not under immediate threat. It is proposed, however, to shut down the Visitor Centre this season - the building was to be the subject of a long term review regarding its future in any case.
